Every time I would see someone carrying the Vera Bradley Messenger Bag, I knew that I had to have one!I was in need of a bag to carry my laptop and files from my office to different buildings across campus.I was so excited when I finally got one!
The Vera Bradley Messenger Bag is 15" x 11.5" x 4" and is made of quality fabrics from the Vera Bradley collection.The patterns and colors are beautiful.The Vera Bradley product line, as a whole, is very popular in my area.The Messenger Bag has three slip-in style pockets (no zipper or other closure) under the flap and two slip-in style pockets inside the bag.There is also a large zippered pocket on the back of the bag.The strap is made of cotton webbing and is adjustable in length.
A far as it goes as a bag for carrying my laptop and files, the Vera Bradley Messenger Bag was a bit disappointing.My laptop, although not very large at all, was a tight fit in the bag.Very little room was left for my files.When those were added, it became very difficult to locate smaller items in the pockets.I have seen several ladies use this bag as a baby bag for older babies and toddlers.It seemed to work much better for that purpose.
