Every time I would see someone carrying the Vera Bradley Messenger Bag, I knew that I had to have one! I was in need of a bag to carry my laptop and files from my office to different buildings across campus. I was so excited when I finally got one!

The Vera Bradley Messenger Bag is 15" x 11.5" x 4" and is made of quality fabrics from the Vera Bradley collection. The patterns and colors are beautiful. The Vera Bradley product line, as a whole, is very popular in my area. The Messenger Bag has three slip-in style pockets (no zipper or other closure) under the flap and two slip-in style pockets inside the bag. There is also a large zippered pocket on the back of the bag. The strap is made of cotton webbing and is adjustable in length.

A far as it goes as a bag for carrying my laptop and files, the Vera Bradley Messenger Bag was a bit disappointing. My laptop, although not very large at all, was a tight fit in the bag. Very little room was left for my files. When those were added, it became very difficult to locate smaller items in the pockets. I have seen several ladies use this bag as a baby bag for older babies and toddlers. It seemed to work much better for that purpose.
