Reviewing: Verbatim 8x Data Life Plus Dvds
Purchased at: Amazon     Price: $38.00 USD

When storing things on DVD's I like to use Verbatim 8x DataLifePlus DVDS.These disc are DVD+R.They hold a large amount of data. They hold 4.7 GB and can write anywhere from 1 X to 8x.They can be bought in small packs or they can be bought in large spindles of 100 DVDs to save money. This is great if you burn a lot of data onto disc. These DVDs have lines on the discs so you can easily label them.

I like these be cause they had been reliable for me and you can burn 4.7 GB worth of data in less than 10 minutes. They are compatible with most DVD-ROM machines and DVD players made by companies like Sony, HP etc.

The only thing bad about buying these in such a huge amount is they do not come with cases so you will eventually have to buy those if you don't want your dvds to get scratched up.

Thesecan be bought in stores such as Wal-Mart or online at such places as Amazon. There are plenty of options to find the lowest price on these DVDs.

Hi Rae- You can also order paper sleeves with a cellophane window at Staples, and probably other office supply stores if you just want something inexpensive for long term storage.

hmmm sleeves or cases. I go back and forth but I must admit I go mostly for cases. Easier to get hold of when going through the massive amount of cds and dvds I have. I must admit sleeves were take up less room.
