I do not own the Envy 2 myself but my friend has one and she is on her third one. The bottom 3 buttons on the front ( the number keys) keep stop working. In about 6 months she's gone through two envy 2's and has her third one now. It scratches easily too. I've dropped mine as many times as she has and mine doesn't have a cover but it has less scratches. When we wen to my other friends house she loss reception even though my friend had it. I didn't bring my cell so I couldn't tell you. But we were upstairs and the only things blocking off the signal was corn stocks about two feet high. She has insurance but every time it breaks it costs 50 dollars to get a new one. I does have full keboard on the inside but the letters are so small you would have to type with your nails to use them. After hearing her complain about them for so long I would not recommend them. So for your own benefit and for that of your friend's ears I would not recommend buying one.
