Vertex Toric Contact Lenses By houseishot on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I recently switched to Vertex Toric contact lenses for astigmatism. I wasn't happy with the comfort and price of my old lenses, so my eye doctor suggested these. At $38.99 for a box of 6, they are more economical than the $55 I was paying previously.

They are the most comfortable lens I have ever had, and I have been wearing contacts for over 15 years. I really like how long I can wear them without having dry, blurry eyes. They are supposed to be 1 month disposable lenses, but I can easily wear them for two months or more (shh, don't tell my dr.!)

I have only had one lens tear so far, which was a problem I have always had (not like I'm rough with them or anything, don't know what the deal is on that!) I also like how they stay in place. Since I have astigmatism, it is very important they don't move all around in your eye or you can't see properly. These stay where they are supposed to.

In all, I'm very happy with these contacts and would recommend them to any contact wearer with astigmatism.
