Very Cooling And Tingly By RachelReviews on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This is a nice shiny lip gloss. I have it in a shimmery coral color called Slaphappy, #645. When I apply it though, it applies quite transparently. It smells and tastes very minty because it has Crest peppermint oil in it. I like that because minty lip products freshen my breath. On Cover Girl's website the lip gloss is said to brighten your smile, so I'll see if it does that. I haven't used it enough to see if it does. I've used it a few times so far, so I will wait and see, but I'm pretty doubtful about that. It just sounds a little gimmicky. The gloss was sweet which I liked. The texture of the gloss is moisturizing; it isn't sticky at all. The packaging is nice, but it's pretty standard. I rated it a 5 because there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, and it's aesthetically pleasing. Basically it's a plastic wand-style tube with a doefoot applicator. Amazemint lasted a good amount of time. I noticed significant wear at around an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes.
