If you are looking for a gift to honor a veteran then you might want to consider this watch. It is perfect to wear when wanting to be just a little more dressed up than usual. I would't recommend wearing it when chopping wood or loading trucks but it would be perfect for a night out with friends or to wear to church.
These commemorative watches come with service ribbon and service medal emblems for all branches of the U.S. military; Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, Navy and Merchant Marines. The watch is inscribed for service in WW II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Afghanistan and Iraq. It is also engraved with initials and years of service on the caseback. These watches have precision quartz movement and are water resistant.
These watches do not, however, have any of the standard features most men's watches have. They do not show the day of the week, for instance, nor do they have a lighted dial. So, basically they just give you the time which, of course, it what a watch is designed to do.

Do they have these in appropriate sizes for all our women vets??? I would not buy anything from a company that doesn't honor us, too.
Unfortunately no. I scoured the web site and could not find any. I did not look at the rings they had , though, so it is possible they offered womens rings.
I love the concept of these watches. It is a meaningful way to honor the veterans in our lives. I do agree with Peterson, that not having them for our female veterans is a glaring omission.
