Vi Agra Falls is another funny novel in the bed-and-breakfast mystery series by Mary Daheim. I have really gotten to like this series. The characters are witty and always creating some kind of chaos, which makes for very entertaining reading.

In this novel, Judith McMonigle Flynn is running her B&B, as usual. She is not at all happy when her husband's ex-wife, Vivian, moves into the neighborhood. Vivian brings along her new, much younger husband, Billy, and they both want to raze the house that they bought and the house next door (which they also bought) to build a condominium. All of the neighbors are upset over this decision, knowing that it will most likely change their nice little neighborhood, and not for the better. When a dead body turns up in Vivian's backyard, Judith and her cousin, Renie, put on their sleuthing caps and get to work trying to find out who the unidentified corpse is and why he was killed.

This story is witty and enjoyable. I have gotten to like the bed-and-breakfast cast of characters very much and would like to read all of the books in this series.
