Vick's Chloraseptic Sore Throat Spray By Patrick By Patrick on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

You forgot about these types of products until the time comes around when you invariably need them again. As is gets colder, I have started getting my first cold of the season, which is always preceded by a sore throat. What I really like about this chloraseptic spray is that it goes directly where it is needed. You don't have to take any pills for other symptoms you may not have or that can make you drowsy. Basically, this spray is a local anesthetic to relieve minor mouth and throat pain. Overall, it works pretty well, but it definitely does not last the two hours claimed. Also, since it is an anesthetic, you can make your mouth go fairly numb. This isn't a big deal, you can spray to the back of your throat to avoid these effects, and they aren't that strong anyways. For minor throat pain, this is definitely a good product to invest in when cold season comes around.
