Vicks Comfort Flex Thermometer By Karen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My husband and I had a very nice digital thermometer, and wouldn't you know that somehow we misplaced it. So off to Walmart we went for a new one. Hubby was feeling a little under the weather with a head cold, and we are fast approaching flu and cold season, so a digital thermometer is a necessity.

We found a nice one by Vicks, called the ComfortFlex Thermometer. This one actually turns colors, which the kid in my husband really liked. It's waterproof and has a lifetime warranty. It has a large display with a backlight, and this display changes color according to what your temperature is. Green means OK, yellow means mild, and red means high. By changing colors, you know at a glance when you have a higher fever that should be taken care of.

The thermometer has a comfortable flexible tip, memory recall, and a storage case for protecting the tip. The Model Number is V966F-24.

This thermometer has some nice features, but hopefully it won't get too much use this winter.
