Vicks VapoRub

Vicks vaporub is something which I have been using for years. I dont know when I started using that. I think my mother applied it on us when I and my brother had cold or cough years back. Still we use it when we have cold or cough.

I use it on by baby (not directly on his skin but on his clothes or pillows) when he has cold and has breathing trouble. It smoothens the breathing.It is a good decongestant.

When I have severe cold I inhale the vaporub with steam. I mix little bit vaporub with steaming water and gently inhale the vapors. It gives me very good relief from cold.My husband also does that when he has severe cold.

When I have head ache I use vaporub as a balm. I dont know whether it is medically proven or not, but I feel relief applying it on my forehead.
