These stories compiled from various authors who lived during Queen Victoria on 1800 A.D onwards.Author collected & retold fearful stories which may frighten the young reader.All stories are dealing with dead ghosts except "The Fifteenth Express" tells the ghost of the living body.This author didn't account that all of these stories are true or rumors.They gave details about the people and events took place during that time.Once the reader starts to read a story,he probably will not skip the pages till the end.Because all of these stories are very interesting and very eager to read.The first story about the dead dog is very fearful and it ends with much tragedy.In the first pages,author give about the brief introduction about these stories.The final story is very long and it explains abou the ghost in little amount.In the last pages,he gave many references for further reading.This book is worth reading to get more paranormal knowledge and to understand the people in that time.
