Victorian Horror Stories By Xanatose on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I picked this book from library after finished the reading of Victorian Ghost Stories which also having the same theme. In the introduction page author Mike Stocks put some details about these stories such as time and authenticity of them.He collected these stories from different authors who lived at the time of Queen Victoria. Most authors in these stories are not known. But they are interesting to read for the paranormal story fans.Expressions used this book sometimes make frightening while imaginating those stories. The vampire cat and werewolf stories are interesting.Few stories are told by the own author who lived in that time. The last story of "Head of the Jean Cabet" is told from French land. That was also good. All these stories are seems to be fiction.Any of them are not realistic. For a story teller who want to teach children, these stories can help. The English used in book ,is very simple and easy to understand. In many stories, there are some arts drawn in black and white according to the stories theme. The had front and back cover is very thick and inside pages are in good paper.I read all stories from starting to end. These stories are interesting to read for who want to gain some paranormal knowedge and alike.
