Village Candle Pure Linen Scented Votive Candle By moonbeam973 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

When I am not familiar with the brand, I tend to buy candles in small or votive sizes, so that I can sort of test them out to see if I like them before I invest in a larger, more expensive candle. These votives were on sale (2 for $1.00 at WalMart), and I could not pass up such a bargain. I chose Pure Linen and (I can't remember exactly, but the other one was some sort of pine or fir scent). They smell great (I especially like this one - the Pure Linen), and the strength of the scent is pretty good - not THE strongest scented candles, but enough to infuse a large room with enough fragrance to really enjoy the scent. The burn time is also decent - these are 2 oz. votives, so I didn't expect them to burn forever, but I got to enjoy each one of the votives for two or three nights. This brand of candle was available in medium and large size jars, and I feel confident enough to purchase one or two in that size, the next time I'm in WalMart (providing they're not all out of the scents that appeal to me).

The linen scent is one of my faves. Thanks for the info on these, I never thought to buy candles from Wal-Mart.

I love the linen scent. It makes my house smell so clean. I also like that it is one of the lighter scents so the air in your house won't feel so thick. Great review, thanks for sharing. I will be looking into purchasing this candle:)

I've always had trouble expressing my thoughts and feelings. When I happened upon this site, I figured writing product reviews......
