Virgin Blue By ehon on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

There are two different budget airlines in Australia - Virgin blue and JetStar. I have flew in both of them and i must say I prefer Virgin Blue over the other.

It takes less than 10 minutes to make your booking, and you can choose to check in at the airport or online! The staff are super friendly, and most of all, they have a great sense of humour which makes your flying experience all the more pleasant.

They do offer meals but you have to pay for them. At the rate that they are going, I must say the rate that they charged are not too expensive either. I love the way they handle things - quick, simple and hassle free.

Also, they have TV service, so if you're on a long flight, you can watch TV for just A$5, and that is, you need a credit card. But hey, if you're only flying for an hour, I don't see why you need a TV!
