The Virgin Mobile By the Minute Plan is perfect for folks like me who don't use their cell phone that often. In today's world, a mobile phone is a must for personal safety and communication while on the go. Virgin Moblile offers a lot of flexibility with a "pay-by-the-minute" plan - no contracts, no monthly fees. You just pay as you go. At 18 cents a minute, this is not a good choice if you make a lot of phone calls. But if you only call occasionally, this is worth looking into. I have saved a lot of money by using this instead of Cingular's $35/month fee. Virgin phones are targeted at teens, but I wish they would have a standard "adult plan" that skipped all of the teen lingo. Other than that, this is a great plan and offers a good value.
