My daughter loves Tamagotchi. She has the 1st generation unit and now the Familitchi unit, version 5. I even play the game with her because it is so entertaining. It's like taking care of another life in the form of the different and cute characters of the Tama Town.
Her red Tamagotchi Familitchi features a family which you will feed, pet, interact with thru games, praise and reprimand. They can also connect with other Tamagotchis with the same unit as yours using the infra-red. The small unit has many games in it which you will use to keep your Tamagotchis happy and well-rounded.

This toy teaches responsibility to your kids. Now my daughter has to keep a tab of her growing friends and feed them on particular time and make sure they are happy and clean and free from any illness. This game is really cute and I love it too.
