I'll begin by saying I tend to have a bit of a sweet tooth. I also adore tangy candy. However, since I'm in the constant struggle trying to balance health and fitness against my gourmand tendencies, I have to keep my sweets consumption to a minimum. This product, the chewy-c is a super treat for me. I get to enjoy a 20 calorie piece of candy, which supplies me with 500 mg of vitamin C in each chew.

For me, the texture and flavor are fantastic. I was the kid who'd go and mix a little bit of water with a big spoonful of Tang, and lick it like a lollipop, when no candy was available, and this tastes almost EXACTLY like that. The texture is extremely chewy, like a denser salt water taffy (the old-fashioned kind) and it really sticks to your teeth. Actually, people with tooth-sensitivity to acids might find this to be problematic. When my teeth are being more sensitive, I usually suck rather than chew these vitamins. Just a heads-up!

Also, I'd keep them out of the reach of children (or adults with the willpower of children) as they ARE very candy-like, and while healthy when taken as prescribed, I'm sure that they're not great to over-consume.
