VO5 Hot Oils, Do They Work?

Reviewing: Vo5 Hot Oil Moisturizing Hair Treatment
Purchased at: Wal Mart     Price: $2.98 USD

I have used hot oil treatments in the past but it has been a while. I bought these at Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market because they were the only brand I could find. The first thing I noticed was that I could not find the brand I used to use- Tresemme. Secondly, WOW the price has gone up and you only get 2 tubes instead of 3 like you used to. I am not a hair styling expert but my thoughts are (and I could be wrong it has been known to happen) is that these treatments do not actually "repair" your hair so much as just condition them and get them to lay flat. Using my thoughts on these treatments- then they do work. I do notice after I use it my hair lays straighter and smoother for about one day. I should mention that my hair is about shoulder length, baby fine, straight and has been colored. I think this is an okay way to go but for the price of 2 tubes (approx. $3) you could buy a bottle of olive oil. I find olive oil works better for me. I say try this product out if you never have. I just don't find the rewards good enough to buy on a regular basis.

Save your money. Use EVOO...see my hair at www.calorey.com author of The Healing Powers of Olive Oil (Kensington); works great for skin woes, too.

I have not seen much of an effect when I use the VO5 either, I haven't tried olive oil yet but I think I just might!
