Voila! Cable Knit Tights! By fudgepineapples on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I needed a new pair of pantyhose the other day to wear with a dress. But I don't like pantyhose, they're just too boring. So I bought these instead. They are full length pantyhose, sadly (I prefer 3/4 length). However, they're made with a weird, thicker thread that is knit into cables. The thread is sort of shiny, so when you move, the cables gleam a little. Also, the tights are still a little sheer, so your skin does show through.

On the more negative side, these tights are extremely stretchy. That means that they sag. And the sagging means you have to pull them up every few minutes, and adds to the discomfort which usually stops me from buying pantyhose. Still, I do really like these. They look excellent when they aren;t sagging, and I think that some outfits need pantyhose, and these, despite being weird and uncomfortable, are at least fun. And sometimes, that's what matters.

Well, these sound interesting, if nothing else. What the heck are 3/4 pantyhose? If they don't come all the way up, how can they be pantyhose? I almost think that I might be interested in these for those very few times that I can't avoid wearing a skirt.
