Vonage cheap....In more ways that one!!

I have to say that I have definitely learned my lesson that cheap is not always better.My husband and I decided that about 2 years ago that we would switch to Vonage because it was what seemed to be a great deal.We figured that we could not go wrong with unlimited everything at only 24 dollars a month.I was really excited when our modem was delivered and I was able to hook up our service.at first everything was fine and well but then we started hearing a lot of static and echoing in our phone.We could never find the problem.Then our account started getting "double dipped" every month.So once everything started going "haywire"I decided to cancel our service.I called 4 different times to have them disconnect our service and still our old number worked.I finally had enough and when they called me to settle the amount owed I gave them an earful and they were not very happy with me. Needless to say....I will never use their service again!
