I have to say that I have definitely learned my lesson that cheap is not always better. My husband and I decided that about 2 years ago that we would switch to Vonage because it was what seemed to be a great deal. We figured that we could not go wrong with unlimited everything at only 24 dollars a month. I was really excited when our modem was delivered and I was able to hook up our service. at first everything was fine and well but then we started hearing a lot of static and echoing in our phone. We could never find the problem. Then our account started getting "double dipped" every month. So once everything started going "haywire" I decided to cancel our service. I called 4 different times to have them disconnect our service and still our old number worked. I finally had enough and when they called me to settle the amount owed I gave them an earful and they were not very happy with me. Needless to say....I will never use their service again!
