Vonage Phone Service
By ezkl onI've been using Vonage as my sole phone provider for both business and personal calls for almost 2 years now. I have to say that I was far more enthused with my service during the beginning of my time with them than I am now. I moved from a sparsely populated area with very little competition for bandwidth to a densely populated area with less available bandwidth and found that the quality of my service went down remarkably. Vonage does allow you to adjust the bitrate at which your phone calls are made to adjust to these fluctuations in bandwidth, which has helped significantly. If you ever have issues and need to find someone to talk you through them, forget about it. Some of the least helpful customer service representatives I have ever dealt with.
Wow, this doesn't inspire me to hurry up and try Vonage. There's a lot to consider with this service, especially how varied have been people's experiences with it!
Oh how horrible that the Vonage Customer Service in your area are less than helpful! I have to agree with Sharkbytes when she says that people's experiences have been so varied. This is not good for Vonage.
Customer support is a big deal for me. Thanks for the info
