Vonage telephone service

I tried the Vonage Voip service out of curiosity.I like the price for all the features you get.You receive unlimited long distance, call waiting, caller id with call waiting, voice mail, and other features.One of my favorite features is caller id call waiting because I like knowing who it is before I click over to answer.I also like the voice mail because you can listen to it via your phone or another phone or your computer.Vonage also offers Vonage Visual Voice mail.It automatically transcribes your voice mails to text so that you can read them right from your email or from SMS on your cell phone.I also like the Do Not Disturb feature.This feature allows your calls to go straight to your voice mail without it even ringing on your home phone.Some of the downfalls of Voip well you guessed it, when your internet service goes down so does your phone service.I also don't like that sometimes you will lose your signal or the box will go down which means you have to reboot both your cable modem and the vonage device.The customer service is very helpful with troubleshooting and I have never had a problem with my bill at this point.I am very pleased with the service provided by Vonage and I do recommend it to others.
