I work from home quite a bit and we have no land line. When I acquired several out of state customers which I had to talk to for extended periods of time each week, I signed up for Vontage. It saves my cell phone minutes and therefore saved me tons of money. The system basically runs through your computer. One of the best features I enjoyed is that I could access my messages online. My wife hated this feature but I think that is just because she was used to having a simple button to push on the phone to retrieve messages. At any rate, if you make quite a bit of long distance phone calls, this would be a life saver for your home as well. So, save those cell minutes and get a Vontage, you definately won't be disappointed.
