V Tech Fly Learn Globe By Beth Kayhart on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The VTech Fly and Learn caught my son's eye in the store, so I let my mother buy it for him for Christmas. At first, he really enjoyed it, but he seemed to grow bored with it quickly for some reason. I do think it was a great way to familiarize him with the world, and for him to begin to understand the layout. I have tried to verbally explain to him the difference between states, countries, and continents but that is hard to do. It is great to have something on a child's level to visually show them. The joystick was easy for my son to use, although I think he is at the higher end of the age range this is made for. It makes a cute little puttering noise as the plane travels around the globe. I would recommend this for younger children just to show them the world they live in.
