Wacom Tablet By Shannighan on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

When I started to get deeper into Photoshop, a regular mouse was not cutting it. I looked around for quite a while until I found what I needed, a tablet. I asked around and it seemed that everybody was using a Wacom brand tablet, so that was the kind I bought. I didn't need a really expensive one, just something that would get the job done. I went to my local electronics store and I found this one! The Wacom graphire4 was $100 with a $30 mail in rebate, I was excited.

It was only 4x5", but that's enough for me (even though the monitor that it was being used on was 22"). the sensitivity is really good, and the pen is very nice and easy to hold. The tablet also comes with a mouse that can be used on the surface of the tablet, but the tablet is so small it doesn't really work that well.

This tablet is really for somebody who wants the functionality of a tablet but doesn't have a high budget. At only $70, you really cannot go wrong. It does exactly what it says despite the small size. (perfect for somebody who's goal is to save desk space.)
