We picked up this Wahl Deluxe Haircutting Kit at Sams Club.
The thing is that Joe needed a haircut, his barber was on vacation and I said I would cut it for him Of course it had been a while.. a very long while since I had cut hair and as I started to cut his hair, I realized that Joe had neglected to remind me that he had a big event to attend the next day at work and I started to laugh more than a little laugh like, an "OMG! I am going to pee!" laugh, as his face dropped.
Then he looks at ALL the hair at his feet. and what a look it was!

Luckily this clipper just glides across the hair while those clips hang on tight. No reverse Mohawk here! It was actually a pretty effortless cut.
This kit comes with the large clipper. This clipper is made of heavy plastic and metal and plugs into the wall. The head of the clipper is solid and not very noisy. It has a very easy to adjust screw on the head. A small bottle of oil and clipper brush is included to keep your clippers clean and running smoothly.
The kit also comes with a smaller battery operated precision trimmer for beard and other small area trimmings. I prefer to use the larger one so I have not used the smaller one yet.
There are a ton of clips for various hair lengths.There are also clips to trim around the ears and to do the eyebrows. The ear clips do make it easier to get in close without making a mistake, but I did use the included scissors to get a finer trim around the ears as I felt the ear clips to be a bit limiting for what I wanted to do.
There are also 2 different styling combs included. The combs are great for getting a nice even straight cut for bangs and for lifting the hair away from the ears to trim.
A smock, smock clips, mirror, brush and empty spray bottle are included to round out the kit.
Everything is kept all nice in tidy in this great hard case!The case opens with two sliding locks that have holes in them so a small padlock can be placed on it to keep it out of reach of the younger ones. This is a nice touch as the scissors are pretty sharp The clippers probably wouldnt cut a young one, but it could give your pet, younger child, neighbor or a sleeping you a not so nice do!
This was a good buy for under $40 and would make a great gift to a high school grad.
Made in USA and China. The main clipper is labeled as made in USA, the smaller one is made in China.

I did not know they did grooming products for humans. I use to buy their grooming tools for pets! Good products!
What a nice and complete set there, I did see set ike this on sale , just feel scared that it might not work as claimed, thanks for the reassurance.
Glad that he got his hair cut and didnt have to spend money at the barber to do it.
This sounds like you really get a complete kit for a reasonable price, and good quality too.
Nice kit! I've used Wahl clippers before and it would have been pretty hard to really mess something up.
