Wahoo a.k.a. Bloody Marbles

My husband's grandma has gotten us hooked on this game. She called it "Bloody Marbes," and for a while I had no idea that this game is also known under all kinds of other names like Wahoo, Irk, Aggravation.

The game consists of a large wooden play board, several sets of colored marbles, and two dice. There are two versions of the game, one for four players and another one for six. We have a four player one. Each player has four marbles of the same color that they must lead around the board and bring safely home. There are shortcuts that allow you to do this faster, but there is also the danger of another player landing their marble on yours and sending you back to the beginning of the track (I guess that's where the name "Aggravation" comes from). The player who brings all the marbles to the safe haven first wins.

The game is easy to learn and fun to play. We played it with grandma, with my parents, and friends of all ages - everyone seems to love it.
