The Waikiki Beachcomber was a great way to begin our first dream trip to Hawaii with a quick two days in Honolulu. The hotel is not too fancy, and it's across the street rather than directly on the beach, but it's in a great location right in the middle of all the action in Waikiki. This hotel is great if you are on a budget and don't really care about having a spectacular room. Plus, you're not there to stay in your room all day, anyway! The hotel was perfectly fine and the room was clean. I recommend spending the extra money for a higher floor facing the beach so that you don't have as much noise. Plus, each room features a lanai (balcony) to enjoy the view of the surrounding hotels and shopping! We will definitely go back on our next trip.
