For the money, Wal-mart ColorPlace Flat Interior Latex paint is an excellent bargain at just $7.97 a gallon. I picked up two gallons of a "Salt Fork" color (a light bronze) to paint several walls in my mobile home, and I couldn't be happier with the coverage of this paint. It takes two coats to properly cover stark white walls, but I find that's true with every paint I've ever tried, and that may have more to do with my choice of brushes and rollers than with my choice of paint. The paint also comes with a 15 year warranty, which surprised me for the low price. The lid on this paint can is plastic, not metal, which I like because I can't ruin the edges of the lid by prying it up. If you have a lot of painting to do and not a lot of money to work with, then I highly recommend checking out Wal-mart ColorPlace paint.

We purchased this paint when our youngest daughter wanted to paint her room...she changes her paint scheme almost as often as she changes shoes or ...er...you know. Agree, it is a very decent quality especially for the price and she loves the fact that she can change colors almost every few months if she wants to...she had blue, she's now going to purple...or bronze, or...she's still working on that :) Thanks for the info.
