Wal-Mart Straw Dispensers in pink and blue

My sister has three teenagers living in her home, and all three of the kids are straw addicts. When they come to visit I am always amazed at how many straws these three use in such a shortamount of time. When I was last at my local Wal-Mart I saw bright pink, blue and green straw dispensers with straws, and I thought of my sister. I purchased a pink and a blue straw dispenser for her and one for myself in pink.

I don't know what she will think of hers, as I have not seen her to give them to her yet.

Although we really did not need this kitchen accessory, I am a sucker for anything pink, and I like to drink out of straws too. I try to avoid as many coffee, tea and soda stains as possible on my pearly whites!

When I consider I spent under two dollars on this item I have to admit it is okay. It holds maybe fifty plastic straws and this is an improvement over just tossing them into some randon container, I am thinking of the drawer full of straws at my sisters house...

I will admit, I have found about eight straws in my batch that have holes in them. The straws are really cute, but considering my container is half full that is not a good ratio for the quality of the straws.
