Wal Mart.Com Black Leather Mid Back Computer Chair By Seraph on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
This has to be the worst office chair I have ever owned.
It's a prime example of "You get what you pay for", in the worst way possible. If I had known how terrible this chair was, I wouldn't have paid so much for it.
It was very simple to set up, and it looked good...for a couple of weeks. Within that time period, the seat cushion quickly disintegrated into nothing. I'm a very small person who weighs half of the "recommended weight". (Which happens to be 200 lbs.) Not much longer after that, a friend sat in the chair and one of the arms broke. Since it was within the 60 days of warranty, I called up customer service about a replacement arm...who then proceeded to give me the worst customer service I have ever received. The arm arrived almost a month later. By that time the other arm had cracked due to the fact weight was distributed in the chair unevenly from the other arm.
Calling back customer service, I got a very hostile reply that I would have to provide detailed proof that this had happened...and was questioned MANY times as to whether I was "truly under the weight limit". (Yeah...they went THAT far.)
In the end...I got the replacement arm...and still am using this uncomfortable chair until I can find an affordable replacement.
But take my advice...don't purchase this chair. It's available at Walmart stores as well as on their website...so stay FAR away from the fifty dollar leather computer chair!

What a horrible product and horrible customer service! I would go out on a limb here and say that perhaps the CSR was having problems with this particular chair and that was why they were trying to not replace the other arm... Thanks for the warning.
It looks so nice too. Thanks for the information.
Thanks for that warning and your experience, sure we will stay far away from that chair.
Thanks for the heads up on this one! If it can't take your 100 lbs sitting in it, it definitely can't take my kids spinning, rocking and pouncing in it :0)
Wow, $50 isn't cheap - too bad this chair was so bad!
Glad you have this opportunity to tell others of your bad experience with this chair.
She is right . These are cheap quality chairs.
Unfortunately, that seems to be the norm with Wal-Mart these days. So many of their stores could care less about the products they sell - or us as customers. Especially if it happens to come in through a vendor and "not part of their inventory". They are NOT the same Wal-Mart that came into our neighborhoods years ago. Sorry you had to deal with that awful service. And even though they gave you replacement arms, I sure hope you reported the person (people) with the lousy service.
