I purchased this vitamin for two reasons. Its not just about calcium, its is about vitamin D. When we do not get enough sunshine, we need vitamin D. This was a great value on a bottle of sixty tablets. Two tablets contain more calcium than a quart of milk. This vitamin can be compared to the quality of Caltrate. It is pure, and its quality and it disolves within thirty minutes. I really like this vitamin. You take one tablet daily. I have taken it for quite awhile and it works. It does need to be taken with food. It has four hundred iu's of vitamin D. There is less than one calorie per tablet. It has the gold seal of Walgreens, the brand that America trusts. I was in my office so much and I know that I was not getting enough sunshine. I was told that I should be on vitamin d also but I needed the calcium too.
