Walking on a Cloud - Born footwear

I have been a clog wearing girl for about 9 years now.I had never tried Born clogs before and am so glad I did!

I went into the store wearing the same clogs I had worn for the last 9 years...yes, 9 years!!I had heard good things about Born so I started looking at the available styles.I picked one that I thought I could live with and asked for my size (11).The sales girl brought them out and I slipped my foot in.OH.MY.WORD!!Heaven I tell ya.I couldn't BELIEVE how wonderful these felt compared to the shoes I had been wearing!

The Born Pennywise clogs had such SUPPORT and the footbed was CUSHIONED and cradled my foot.I was in love before I even looked in a mirror.When I did look in the mirror..I wasn't thrilled.Unfortunately, the front of the shoe..the toe part.."curls" up kinda.Not drastically..but just enough that they reminded me of elf shoes.I was so disappointed.I walked around the shoe department and with each step grew more in love.I asked some strangers opinions and they all said they looked fine.At that point, I didn't really care, I wanted these little (ok, big--I wear an 11!!) pieces of Heaven to come home with me!I put my old 9 year old shoes in the box, kept the Born's on my feet and walked out of the store a happy customer with comfy feet!

I walked around the mall in my new shoes and realized that I had to actually WALK, you know, heel toe, heel toe, rather than the sliding/shuffling thing I used to do.The Born shoes have a great tread on the bottom that I just needed to get used to.I have worn my Born clogs in the rain and snow for a couple months now, they are holding up great and the leather is showing NO signs of wear.
