Walking To Health By BillF on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

As I get older I am understanding the wisdom of walking for health and exercise. I find my self walking to meet people at work in person, taking stairs and not parking closest spaces at store. I do other exercises but nothing is easier and less impacted by weather, injuries, or equipment availability. The sportline 330, I think it sells for $10-15, is a very simple device to measure number of steps you take daily. You can remind your self if you are getting enough exercise. It is very easy to use, small, and weigh about 2 ounces. I plan to take at least 2000 steps every day and heavy exercise days I take over 4000 steps. You just place on belt and it counts the steps. It seems to sometimes have a delayed count since some days I go get the paper in the morning it credit me with 165 steps two days in a row and other days it credits me with about the same steps with single digit steps. At the end of the day, it is fairly consitent on its count of steps. Bottom line a simple device to add to your weight loss plans.
