The W300i looks literally like a clam. Cute design that makes the phone very small, very light and fits easily in hand. It is a walkman phone, which essentially means it is a specialized music player and a phone all in one. The battery life is extremely good in this phone. The phone can play up to 24 hours worth of music, provided it plays the music in normal playback. But 24 hours is a very very long playback time. The phone can also play videos in MP4 and 3GP format. The best feature of this phone I would say is the pre-installed software. The software is basically a audio file format converter. It can convert files of .WAV into .MP3 and so on and so forth. The phone can support external memory of up to 4GB which makes it rival the conventional MP3 players found in the market. USB, Bluetooth and infrared are used to transfer data to this phone. I wanted to take a look at the battery of this phone but I found it extremely hard to open the battery cover. When I looked it up on the internet, I found out that it was a manufacturing defect. Sony should do something about this. All in all this phone is a great media player at a very reasonable price. I'm considering selling my conventional media players to get one of these.
