Walmart Bakery Wedding Cakes

If you are planning a wedding and have a limited budget to work with, you might want to consider Walmart Bakery at Walmart Supercenters for your cake.I have checked out their bakery for birthday cakes and other special occasion cakes, and I was very surprised to see what a great selection they have.I personally have not gotten a wedding cake from them, but I have gotten other types of cakes, and they were always done very nicely and tasted great.Plus, I have checked out some of their wedding cake designs, since my husband and I are in the wedding business (photography) and their cakes were beautiful.
I know Walmart might not be the first place you would consider when choosing a wedding cake, but you might be pleasantly surprised at how good of a job they can do for you.Their cakes are more reasonably priced, and they can custom make a cake to your specifications.The only drawback would be delivery.I don't know if they deliver, but if you have a way of transporting your cake from the bakery to the reception, that drawback would be taken care of.
Walmart has an assortment of flavors for the cake, icing and decorations.I have always been pleased with any cakes I have purchased from them, and twice I received a birthday cake that was purchased at Walmart by my husband, and they were very pleasing to the eye as well as the taste buds.
For any special occasion (including weddings), I think the full-service bakery at Walmart Supercenter would be a good choice, especially for limited budgets.
What a great and novel idea! Persoanlly, I purchase birthday cakes from Sams Club (same thing really) all the time and they are DELICIOUS - vanilla cake with raspberry filling - yummy!!!! Excellent idea and a very helpful share :-)
it always feel good to know that there are options available to us especially on tightly budgeted occasions.. ;)

Walmart cakes are priced very nicely. I have bought a few cakes there that have tasted a little cheap but some were good. I think you just have to be careful what you get.

That is awsome that Walmart carries wedding cakes. It seems they di everything now these days. If I ever get married I will concider a wedding cake from there.
