I have always been a huge Walt Disney fan. I have collected Disney memorabilia for years. Since I was in Jr. High. My mother bought these plates for me while I was still in College and I still LOVE them. They have been hanging on my bedroom wall for almost 10 years now.

There are 4 plates in the collection the plates represent the Disney Company from the year 1920 up to 2000. Each plate also has a porclein Mickey Mouse in the lower right hand corner that modernizes as the plates transform through the years. The first plate is from 1920 - 1940. It has a very young photo of Walt Disney with many of the start out Disney Characters such as Steamboat Willie and Snow White. The secon plate goes from the years 1940 - 1960. There is an older photo of Walt Disney from the opening of DisneyLand along with The Mickey Mouse Club Logo and Cinderella. The third plate is from the years 1960 - 1980. This plate has the opening of Walt Disney World plus Pongo from 101 Dalmations along with other characters from those 20 years. The last plate is from the years 1980 - 2000. This plate features characters such as Pocahontas and Beauty and the Beast. The Walt Disney photo is now the statue of Walt and Mickey from Walt Disney World.They are hungin a wood frame that came with them when you bought the full set of four plates. There are brass labels on the frame under each plate that has the dates that that plate represents.

This was the perfect gift for a Disney fan. I LOVE my Disney plates.
