The bed in my guest room is an extra-long twin, and it has become increasingly difficult to find sheet sets for this size mattress at an affordable price. When I saw these Wamsutta all-cotton flannel sheets at Amazon.com, I was skeptical that a quality sheet set could cost so little. I'm so glad that I went ahead and bought them, for the quality is exceptional!

The set contains one flat sheet, one fitted sheet, and one pillowcase. They are made of a good-quality, thick and soft flannel. The sheets are more than big enough for my mattress, which is a rarity! They come in a nice selection of colors and patterns. One flaw I saw was that the underside of these sheets is not the same color as the top - it is white. But that's the only complaint I have about these sheets! They wash up beautifully, with no pilling, and very little lint was in my dryer's lint filter the first time I washed them. There was no shrinkage whatsoever.

Flannel sheets are suitable for year round use. I have found that they are cozy and warm in the winter, as you would expect, and they are quite cool in the summer, too. I love these sheets, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a set of very nice sheets at a good price.
