Wanna design printed circuit boards???

I am an electronics and communication engineering student and i have a habit of designing and making my own PCB's. For this purpose used a free software called Express PCB which had limited functionality. Recently my friend has bought a PCB designing software named EAGLE CAD Version 5.0. This software is very small in size and has a huge database of components. I feel that this software shall meet all the requirements for designing an analog or digital PCB. We can design to a maximum of 16 layer PCB using this software.One more thing which i liked about this software is that it contains all SMD packaging database so that you need not worry while designing a PCB. I dont know about the updates but this software is worth it. This software cannot be compared to the high end softwares like 'altium designer' but it is more than sufficient for home electronics laboratory. They also provide a trial version of this software which can be downloaded from their site.
