Want A Touch Of Nostalgia? This Is A Treat! By Bobbi Mckenney on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My husband loves chocolate. He wanted a chocolate fountain for awhile. Last christmas I bought him a minin chocolate fountain. He was excitied. We have made chocolate covered everything! It is so easy to use. I find that if you use chocolate that has alot of cocca butter in it, it works the best. Otherwise, the chocolate does not melt smooth enough and you have to add alot of oil to it. I tired milk chocolate chips the first time. I pre-melted them as directed in the instruction manual. The i pured into the base of the fountian. I found that it just did not flow as smoothly as it should. Don't get me wrong it still worked but just not as well. So if you choose to invest in one of these, experimentation is not always a bad thing! The tear down and clean up is a chinch though. The fountain comes apart easily and cleans in a snap! The fountain is 40 watts and 120 volts. Just like is says under the model it is a mini. Just the right size for a table at an reception, family get togather or any other reason that you might think of. It stores easily in a cabinet and does not take up much room. Well worth purchasing. :)

I never liked the chips either. There is a specialty chocolate maker in my area that will sell Peter's chocolate in bulk amounts, and that's what he uses as his own chocolate base.
