Want to have smarter babies?
By Chris Kong onBabyplus is developed by Dr Brent Logan . It produces repetitive rhythmic sounds that is believed to exercise the prenatal baby's brain which claims to have the same effect as mum's heartbeats. It claims that baby is able to identify and compare these rhythmic sounds and their mums' heartbeats. Thus the exercise will help the baby to strengthen his or her brain cells and slowly build the baby's memory for greater learning capacity throughout life. I did try this product throughout my preganancy but the effect is yet to be seen .
My personal opinion is how smart the baby is , depends on a lot of other factors too, for example, the environment he or she is brought up,the genetic factors, the food the babies takeand his surroundings. But babies do get more relaxed at birth and they are easier nursed and sleep betterafter listening to babyplus.

Lets hope the effects arent the same as cell phones. I also heard that children die years later from this technique! no...just kidding, lol!
Haha,,good one there, Webwizard. ;-) Thanks sndfan2. :-)
Interesting concept. Who knows if it really does anything, eh? Pretty hard to rate since you can't ask the baby "Hey, what did you think of those rhythms while you were swimming around?"
Sounds like a interesting theory.. not sure I buy into it.. but I guess it couldn't hurt right? To bad I think I am done being a baby machine (4 month old and 2.5 year old.. lots of work LOL!)
I share your opinion about what makes a smart baby, but you have tested a fascinating product and it can do no harm, especially if you have a more relaxed baby as a result.
This sounds like an interesting concept!! I wish we really knew....!
Interesting theory, but I'm like you, a lot of other factors are in play here as well. Even if the theory turns out to not be correct, at least it gave you the benefit of a relaxed baby!
I find this products claims hard to believe, too, but I'm glad you saw some benefits from using it. A baby who nurses easily and sleeps better is a always a plus. Thanks for the info on this interesting product.
I'm not sold on this product either. Like you said, its a child's environment which mainly determines how smart he or she will be. I really don't think you can start that in the womb with sounds.
Too bad I didn't have this when I was pregnant, it would've been good to try.
