I have naturally curly hair and I have tried everything for my hair to defrizz it, and to keep it shiny when straighten. I've tried lotion to Jels. They all give you a different look, but some products don't last long, and other leave your hair hard and crunchy & wet looking. You don't want your man to touch crunchy or hard hair. I've used all the serum brands. I used Frizz Ease by John Frieda for years but its expensive but It was the best I could find so I didn't want to give up great hair. Then I found Citre Shine and its a wonderful product highly recommend it. Citre Shine Anti frizz serum leaves my hair soft and silky all day and not greasy or hard and it smells great. And great for straightening. Also Price is great. I absolutely love it.
