This is the remake of the classic Sci-Fi movie by H. G. Wells, War of the Worlds. This version stars Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning. It is rated PG 13, although, I think R might be a better rating. I would not let any young children watch this movie unless you want a lot of sleepless nights due to nightmares about aliens. Without spoiling the plot, Tom Cruise and his two children run for their lives from aliens taking over the world. There is a very ominous sound in the movie when the aliens are about to appear that really gets me, lol! I think it is a great movie and my husband and I have watched it many times. We purchased it previously owned from Blockbuster. If you enjoy Sci-Fi movies, I think you will really like this one. Put yourself in Tom's shoes. He is desperate to protect his children!
