Wash That Grime Right Off Of The Fence!!!! By Geralyn Hydock on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Alright, I caved in! My husband is totally obsessed with tools and constantly is on the lookout to add new ones to his enormous collection. This past summer, he was complaining about having to scrub the wooden deck beneath our gazebo and the fence around our yard. Having heard enough complaining, I decided to surprise him with a pressurewasher for his birthday. He was thrilled when he opened up his present and discovered what I had gone out an bought for him.
The unit is not cheap but it it has been worth every penny spent plus I do not like to skimp on quality. I believe in what you pay for, you get. This washer delivers a waterstream at 2550 MZX PSI/2.3 MAX GPM and is powered by a Briggs and Stratton 675 series engine which has Readystart. The machine runs like a champ and we have not had any problems with it whatsoever.
We have found this washer to be the perfect size for our needs of cleaning our patio, the fences, garage floor, gazebo floor, and our driveway. There are many other things which you can cleans such as patio furniture, garden rocks, kids outdoor playhouses and toys. The list goes on and on. I have to warn you that this washer puts out an extremely forceful spray which could be dangerous. It is wise to wear work gloves and keep it away from your face and body!
Features of the unit include: 4 Pro style quick connect spray tips, a maintenance free axial cam, a pump with Easy Start, a 2 in 1 detergent system, a twenty five foot high pressure hose, and 14" high wheels. Assembly was very easy for us and she started right up. It can run for quite a while on one tank of gas and is lightweight enough to move around for wherever you may want to use it. I had no prolems moving it myself!
Needless to say, my husband was ectstatic with his gift. He went around looking for things to clean. Well, spring is here and I have a list of things which he can clean up real soon including out gazebo floor, the fence, our patio furniture, and our driveway. That should keep him busy for a little while!
Knock on wood, we have had no problems with the washer. It is a powerful unit and does and excellent job. If needed, we would definitely buy another Craftaman version as this has exceeded all of our expectations. The product is well worth the investment.
Craftsman 2550 MAX PSI Stratton Powered Pressure Washer Purchased at: Sears Price: $250.00

A really good description of what this unit can do. Craftsman quality almost always comes through! Thanks.
These are very useful. It is nice you got him something which will both save him time and add to his tool collection. Tools are always a handy gift for guys. My hubby love tools. Thanks for sharing the information and your experience.
A power washer is so helpful in outside cleaning. You are right to warn about the danger of the force of the water. Remember to wear shoes. I have heard of people getting hurt when they accidently sprayed their bare feet.
This Sounds Like A Great Product! Thanks For Sharing!
