I received these samples in the mail recently. They are designed to protect against the damage caused by heat styling. I rarely use my blowdryer, and I never use any other hot tools, like flat irons, curling irons, wavers, etc. My hair is prone to breakage and split ends. Stylers like these make this issue worse.

I figured since this is for people who use thermal styling, this would hydrate my naturally dry hair type adequately.

The shampoo was creamy and fragrant. The smell was slightly tropical, a bit floral and strongly fruity. I liked the scent of this a lot. Plus, it had good lather.

The conditioner was thick and creamy. It instantly made my hair feel silky, and I was able to run my fingers through it, while I was in the shower. Unfortunately, the fragrance of it was boring: faintly tropical. It was really subtle which could be good for folks who are sensitive to certain smells. Basically in terms of fragrance, it was an extremely less potent version of the shampoo.

I can't attest to the product's ability to prevent damage, but I think this is a decent pair of products in terms of cleaning and conditioning. Furthermore, the conditioner is a great detangler and the shampoo smells fantastic.
