Watch, Record Turn Home Movies Into Dv Ds By a-w-omyn on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

When our old DVD player finally kicked the bucket, we found ourselves in need of a new one. But, we also have a LOT of VHS tapes, and we didn't want to have to replace them all. So, we found this.

It has the ability to play DVDs and VHS tapes, being a combo player. But, it can also record, and dub VHS tapes onto DVD, and vice versa.

We've used it to turn a few of our home movies into DVDs. We've used it to watch both DVDs and VHS. We've used it to record. We've had it for a year or so now, and it's going strong.

I have no complaints. And, it's easy to figure out. One thing my uncle didn't like is that it doesn't count down the seconds that you're recording. As such, he said that he just wasn't sure it was doing it's job. I did see that it counted down the minutes though, so I was happy in the knowledge that it was doing what it was supposed to do. And, as it turned out, it didn't matter ~ It recorded beautifully!
