This is genius, a way to rid the yard of standing water - and save water at the same time. The Waterdog drinking foutnain hooks up to the outdoor tap and your pet is ready to drink for the day. This is a miricle for outdoor pets, as they can learn to get water, and indoor pets who spend time outside can learn the same thing.

The sensor is activated when the dog comes within a meter of the mechanism, and water is than dispensed. There have been a couple times when it took a few moments for the water to be dispursed, but it is a very accurate tool to attach to the tap.

You are still able to use a garden hose, as there is a seperate nozzle for the hose to be hooked into.

You may find it helpful to place a dish of some sort under the tap if you are concerned about water conservation, as it can be pretty wet, and water may run everywhere, as well - if your dog so chooses it will still be able to drink from the dish.

My dog somehow finds a way to get its head soaked with water, So maybe there should be an umbrella attachment? That would be sheer genius!
