Waterproof Bandage Skin Shield Liquid Bandage By Geralyn Hydock on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

How many of us have been so frustrated when a bandage fails to stay put when immersed in water? I know I have been there. Recently, I had an infected finger which had to be lanced. The finger needed to be covered continuously until it healed. Every time I washed dishes or myself, the bandaid would come off. I bought this skin shield liquid bandage and no longer had to worry about the finger getting wet or reinfected.

Skin shield is aksi a first aid analgesic that relieves pain as well as an antiseptic that fight germs. This was very important in my case. I also love this product as it can be used to prevent blisters and calluses as well as providing a barrier to shield bruises, scrapes, and cuts all of which my kids get often. It is also waterproof, invisible, and breathable.

The liquid forms a protective layer over the wound but should not be used for cuts which are very deep. I found that it does tend to sting a little after the initial application but that soon disappears. This product has come I handy for many a minor cut and scrape in my household. I highly recommend this to everyone!
