We Came, We Saw, We Conquered! By dav3tv on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Whether you're a hobbyist or a professional videographer, Videomaker should be tops on your list of must-have mainstream video magazines. With it's insightful and helpful articles, photos, reviews, and tutorials related to videography, there's just no excuse NOT to be subscribing.

A recent issue included articles such as What's Legal: Musical Copyright, Handheld Shooting Tips, and an excellent review of the Hitachi DZ-BD7HA compact Blu-Ray disc hybrid camcorder.

Not surprisingly, I also enjoy the ads in the magazine as they tend to tip me off to more gadgets I'd love to own!

My one complaint is the issues tend to be a bit on the thin side (about 75 pages or so) and could be a bit heftier in my opinion. I'm not complaining about the A-1 content, mind you.. I just wish there were more of it!
