We Sold Our Soul For Rock 'N' Roll

When I first became intersted in classic rock, which was most powerful about 20 years before I was born, I asked for two albums. We Sold Our Soul For Rock 'N' Roll by Black Sabbath, and also Back In Black by AC/DC. Both of these CD's helped launch me into a full blown craze of anything rock and roll. Black Sabbath is one of my favorite bands, and they are because of this album. We Sold Our Soul is a greatest hits album that features my personal favorite Black Sabbath song, War Pig. You get traditional favorite Black Sabbath hits, as one may expect from a greatest hits album, such as Paranoid and Iron Man. I have found memories of riding in the car with my dad as he talked to me about Black Sabbath and we listened to the song, his first concert he every went to was Black Sabbath. I feel that these two albums helped reel me into classic rock and gave me and my dad a connection that most fathers and sons don't have. I am grateful for that.
